Second Opinions

Get a Fresh Perspective.

Pain can be caused by a variety of factors, making it difficult to pinpoint the source of the pain. Once you've been diagnosed with a pain-causing condition, you usually are presented with a variety of treatment options.

Which treatment is the best? Is surgery the best course of action? Is it necessary for me to go to physical therapy? Are the alternative treatments effective?

Reasons to seek a second opinion:

  • You are not at ease with the diagnosis.

  • You do not believe you have a thorough understanding of the diagnosis or treatment options.

  • You have had prior treatment but your symptoms have not improved.

  • The recommended treatment is risky, involves surgery, is invasive, or may have lifelong side effects.

What a second opinion looks like at Wild Horse Health:

  1. We will request all medical records, labs, and imaging from prior healthcare providers.

  2. We will perform our own in-depth assessment during your first visit.

  3. We will explain all diagnoses so that you have a thorough understanding of your condition.

  4. We will present all treatment options clearly, along with their risks and benefits.
